Daniel Wallace has written an excellent article to which I have inserted a link below. Professor Wallace deals with fifteen assumptions/objections that have been raised about Bible translations. The article is relatively short, but offers excellent insight for those who are perhaps concerned about the reliability of modern translations. I would highly recommend this article to you. If you have questions or concerns about modern translations, I believe it may help answer those questions. The article will also provide information which can be used to answer some of the questions which others may raise. Here is the link.
